The newly constructed state of-the-art Septage Treatment Plant of Calamba Water District is situated at Brgy. Palo-Alto. This facility is designed for the collection, treatment and disposal of sludge, sewage and other wastewater collected and siphoned from the city’s septic tanks. It is
well-equipt and reliable with utmost concern for environmental protection.
Shown in the cover is the illustration of the core function of Calamba Water District which is to provide the essential needs of the community with water. The glass mirrors the many purpose of water to human, which above all is as thirst quencher thus, “Clean Water for All” is absolute.
Needless to say, every drop of water coming from the tap that is connected to CWD water source is definitely clean as it is being tested in CWD laboratory that is accredited by Department of Health.
Heroism lies in the heart of every individual therefore each civil servant regardless of position could shine like a hero!
Today, Waterlife pays tribute to the unsung heroes of Calamba Water District. They are the employees who are crossing the line between ordinary civil servants to servant-heroes or “Lingkod Bayani”.
